Youth Program

When you join the BCFCU, you join a community of people who believe in making their money work locally.

As a member you have access to some of the best loan rates and terms around.  Our loan officers believe in helping you find the lending solution that best meets your needs. You are also eligible to take advantage of the other services and accounts that the credit union offers.

All savings accounts and basic checking accounts are free. (Nominal charges apply to added features or services such as debit cards or cashier's checks.)

As a member you can participate in the Credit Union by serving on various committees, which help develop policies and implement strategies for how the Credit Union serves its community.  The Board of Directors is elected in March of every year by and for the membership.  Any adult member in good standing may be recruited to serve on a committee or be nominated for a seat on the Board.

Member Testimonial

My loan from the Buffalo Cooperative Federal Credit Union  is saving me almost $2 per day.  Two dollars every day really adds up quickly. More importantly, I feel a lot better knowing that my interest payments are going to support the local economy, community development, and the other Coop Credit Union members.

Being stuck with such high interest rates and paying huge monthly payments to faceless credit card corporations was very draining. I'm very grateful to have some freedom from that.
