The BCFCU has instituted several new fees. These fees cover emerging circumstances. For fee amounts please review the Schedule of fees on the rates and fees page.
Collateral Protection Insurance Placement: This fee covers the administrative costs that the Credit Union incurs when it must Force Place an insurance policy on an auto or home that is being used as collateral for a BCFCU loan.
Minimum Balance Fee: This fee is assessed on the last day of each quarter to any Regular Share Savings Account when its balance has fallen below the minimum balance on any day in the preceding quarter.
Non-machinable Item: A fee will be assessed to cover the additional costs of manually processing deposited checks which have been damaged and cannot be scanned. This includes checks which cannot be scanned due to physical defects, as well as checks which cannot be imaged due to poor ink quality. HINT: Checks written in ink other than blue or black generally will not scan - a fee will be assessed and the check will be returned to the depositor.
